How to Connect to a Mobile SMART Podium

SMART Podium Set-up

If you would prefer to use the smart podium versus the Sharp interactive screen, then you can have access to a Smart Podium mobile set up.  The mobile setup is comprised of a Smart Podium SP524, a cart and a HDMI connection cable.

Here is what you will need:

  1. Laptop with HDMI connection port
  2. USB port on the same laptop
  3. Smart Podium Mobile Cart: Rolling Cart with power extension cord, USB cable, HDMI cable, power cord, and Smart Pen 
  4. Access to Air Media

 

 Here is how you can connect:

  1. Make sure that the Smart Podium is plugged in and turn on
  2. Make sure that the Laptop is turned on and you have logged in
  3. Take the HDMI cable from the SMART podium marked "to computer" and plug it into the HDMI port of the computer, you should see the computer image on the SMART podium
  4. Take the USB cord marked "to computer" and plug it into any of the usb ports on your computer.  Your computer should now be interactive with the SMART pen.

    1. Connect to AIR Media by following the instructions in the provided link:  Air Media
      or
    2. Connect HDMI from Room to SMART podium HDMI port
