EMAIL LOGIN CHANGE FROM @VIKINGS.NORTHPARK.EDU TO @NORTHPARK.EDU ON MARCH 18, 2014

This Winter the IT Department has been working very hard to bring you the best email support and service.

Several things have already changed and I'm sure most have noticed some of the major adjustments:

Migration to Microsoft's O365 email service
Federation with North Park's in-house management & email solutions.
Initiating the use of username@northpark.edu for all Students, Faculty, & Staff email addresses.

Logging into your email

Student email can be accessed via the link provided at My North Park.

March 18, 2014

On MARCH 18, 2014 students will STOP using email login: username@vikings.northpark.edu

And begin using email login: username@northpark.edu at O365.

Both email addresses should be able to receive email to the same inbox.

username@vikings.northpark.edu

The username@vikings.northpark.edu address will still receive email after the transition.

If you need to change your password use the Account Management page, or see the wiki article on Password Reset.

While it can certainly be confusing to have two addresses for one inbox, this transition will help the campus communicate much better!

Not only does this adjustment shorten the student email address, but it is adding several new features and benefits.
