PASSWORD ISSUES WITH VIKINGS EMAIL

The conversion to Office 365 is complete.  And with it comes a password issue:

Passwords must meet the following requirements:  We are in process of updating our password change routine to enforce these requirements before you submit.

If you do not follow these guidelines, your password will not be changed:

 

When you create a new password, use the following guidelines:

  • Use 8 to 16 characters.
  • Create a strong password that can’t be easily guessed or discovered. Office 365 requires at least 3 of the following:
    • Lowercase characters
    • Uppercase characters
    • Numbers (0-9)
    • Symbols, including: ! @ # $ % ^ & * - _ + = [ ] { } | \ : ‘ , . ? / ` ~ “ < > ( ) ;
  • Don’t use your user name (the part of your user ID to the left of the @ symbol).
